The Lord Jesus Christ mention decieve four times in the matthew 24 discourse with his disciples; this shows how rampant and serious deception will be in the closing periods of this age .
1. verse 4 take heed that no one DECIEVE you.
2.verse 5 for many will come in my name saying I am the CHRIST and will DECIEVE many.
3.verse 11 Then many false prophets will rise up and DECIEVE many.
4. verse 24 For false christ and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to DECIEVE. if possible the elect.
